Our approach: necessary technologies can operate to keep the site and enquiry form secure. We use a region-aware privacy engine. In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and locations handled conservatively, optional Analytics and Marketing stay off until permitted. For United States visitors, the site may use an opt-out default where permitted, with Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Your Privacy Choices available to stop supported advertising processing.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device. Session cookies normally expire when a browser session ends; persistent cookies remain for a stated period or until deleted. Pixels, local storage, identifiers and server-side events may perform similar functions even though they are not all cookies.
A first-party cookie is set for the site shown in the address bar. A third-party service may also receive information when its script, image or network request is allowed to load.
2. How your choices work
Your initial settings depend on the privacy region determined by the server. In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland and conservative fallback regions, Analytics and Marketing start off and you may accept all, reject non-essential technologies or manage categories separately. In United States opt-out mode, Analytics and advertising measurement may start by default where permitted, unless a relevant preference such as GPC, Do Not Track for our Analytics category, or a choice saved through Your Privacy Choices disables them. Refusing or opting out of optional technologies does not prevent you from browsing products or sending an enquiry.
We store an explicit choice in a first-party preference cookie for up to
180 days. The record includes the policy/rule version and the privacy mode used
when the choice was made. It is configured for .szyobonjee.com so
participating subdomains can read the same preference. The server remains
authoritative for the current region and will not trust a browser-provided
country value to weaken a stricter rule. A new choice may be requested when
the policy changes, the cookie expires, or you clear browser data.
3. Regional privacy modes
- EEA / United Kingdom / Switzerland: strict opt-in mode for optional Analytics and advertising technologies.
- United States: opt-out mode where permitted. The site honors an explicit advertising opt-out and, where detected, Global Privacy Control (GPC) for the supported sale/share/targeted-advertising choice.
- Other or unknown locations: conservative strict opt-in fallback rather than assuming United States rules.
Region detection is based on server-side country information (for example, an infrastructure country header where available). A visitor-supplied hidden form value cannot change the server's privacy mode. VPNs, proxies and country detection limitations can affect accuracy, so Your Privacy Choices remains available to every visitor.
4. Categories
Necessary — always active
Used for session security, CSRF protection, saving Cookie choices, protecting forms against spam and delivering a service you request. The landing-page server also keeps a minimal first-party access log (request time, page, IP address, IP hash, user agent and source) whether or not optional Analytics is accepted. This server log does not set an analytics cookie and does not activate heatmaps or session replay. These are not used for behavioural advertising.
Analytics / form improvement
Used to understand visits, page activity, referral sources and site performance, and to diagnose form usability. Depending on the active region and settings, this can include first-party analytics, session replay with masked form controls, protected form-journey events and Google Analytics or Jetpack Stats where enabled. In strict opt-in regions it stays off until permitted; in US opt-out mode it can be disabled through Your Privacy Choices and is also disabled when our implementation detects Do Not Track.
Advertising / Marketing measurement
Used to attribute advertising visits, measure results, create advertising audiences and support relevant advertising. This covers Meta Pixel, Meta click identifiers, Meta Conversions API and Google Ads measurement/click identifiers where those integrations are enabled. In strict opt-in regions these features require the relevant permission. In US opt-out mode they are disabled when an explicit advertising opt-out or detected GPC signal applies.
5. Current technology inventory
The tools present can vary between the main website and a campaign landing page. The table lists technologies in use now or prepared for use after the stated consent.

yb_visitor_id |
Yobonjee advertising landing page | Recognises a returning browser for first-party landing-page analytics, sessions, heatmaps and replay linkage when Analytics / form-improvement processing is allowed | Analytics | Up to 1 year; associated analytics records are normally retained for up to 365 days |
_GRECAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA requests (conditional) |
Google; only if reCAPTCHA is enabled in the future | Optional risk analysis, spam and abuse prevention. This landing page does not currently enable reCAPTCHA. | Conditional necessary security | Not currently set by this landing page; if enabled later, duration is controlled by Google |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics; main website where enabled | Distinguishes users and maintains session state for site analytics | Analytics | Up to 2 years by default |
Jetpack Stats requests; tk_ai or tk_qs where a relevant feature sets them |
Automattic / WordPress.com; main website | Page and performance statistics, referrals and approximate country | Analytics | Stats logs: 28 days; listed cookies: session where present |

| UTM parameters | Yobonjee enquiry form | Records the campaign associated with a submitted business enquiry | Form context; not itself a cookie | Retained with the enquiry |
fbclid |
Meta link / Yobonjee enquiry form | May arrive in the advertising URL and server log; retained by the enquiry application only when the regional advertising decision allows it | Marketing; not itself a cookie | Retained with the enquiry when the regional advertising decision allows it |
gclid, gbraid, wbraid |
Google Ads link / Yobonjee enquiry form, when Google Ads is used | Advertising click attribution identifiers; retained in the protected lead-quality sidecar record only when the regional advertising decision allows it | Marketing; not themselves cookies | Retained with the enquiry quality record when the regional advertising decision allows it |
Cookie names and durations can change when a provider updates its technology or a browser limits lifetime. We review the table when scripts or plugins change.
6. Third-party services
Google reCAPTCHA — currently disabled
reCAPTCHA v3 code remains available as an optional anti-abuse control, but it is not currently enabled on this landing page. While disabled, the page should not load the reCAPTCHA service or set a reCAPTCHA cookie for the enquiry form. If the service is enabled in the future, this inventory will be updated before active use to describe the applicable Google processing.
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
On the main website, Analytics can measure page use and approximate
location. Tag Manager is a delivery system for configured tags; each tag
must still obey the effective regional privacy decision. Where Google tags
are used, Google Consent Mode communicates analytics_storage,
ad_storage, ad_user_data and
ad_personalization states before measurement commands. In strict
opt-in regions the relevant optional storage/use remains denied until permitted.
See Google Business Data Responsibility for information about Google's processing.
Jetpack Stats
Jetpack Stats can process IP address, user agent, visiting and referring URLs, timestamp, browser language and country code. Visitor statistics must remain blocked before the applicable Analytics choice where prior permission is required.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API
Meta Pixel may receive page visits, form-success events, browser or device information, IP-derived information, click identifiers and Meta cookies. Where server-side measurement is enabled, the Meta Conversions API may receive the same form-success Lead event sent by the browser Pixel, using a matching event identifier for deduplication, and may later receive a qualified-lead event. Server events can include normalized, SHA-256-hashed business email/phone and available Meta browser, IP and user-agent identifiers. These advertising features are used only when the regional advertising decision permits them. In strict opt-in regions that requires the relevant permission; in US opt-out mode an applicable GPC or explicit advertising opt-out blocks the supported processing. Meta describes its processing in its own cookies and privacy policies.
Google Ads conversion measurement — reserved
The landing page is prepared to retain Google Ads click identifiers such as
gclid, gbraid or wbraid when the regional
advertising decision allows it. If the optional server-side Google Ads integration
is enabled, a lead that Yobonjee marks as qualified may be sent as an offline/
enhanced lead conversion through Google's Data Manager API together with available
click identifiers and normalized, SHA-256-hashed business email/phone. In strict
opt-in regions the system sends the applicable granted consent state with eligible
advertising feedback. In US opt-out mode it does not treat the absence of an opt-out
as an affirmative consent statement; the integration remains blocked if the regional
advertising decision is not allowed. The integration is disabled unless separately configured.
Communication links
This landing page provides direct email and telephone links. It does not embed a social-media communication software development kit.
7. Change or withdraw your choice
Use the button below at any time. In strict opt-in regions you can grant, refuse or withdraw optional categories. In US opt-out mode you can turn off Analytics/form improvement and advertising measurement. If GPC is detected, the advertising control is forced off by this implementation. If a category that already loaded is later disabled, the site updates supported consent signals, attempts to delete associated first-party identifiers and reloads where necessary. A third party may retain information already lawfully received under its own retention rules.
You may also delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary first-party session technologies may prevent the enquiry form or administration login from working correctly.
